Practice Setting

• Freestanding EDs with 8-15 beds
• 1 physician per shift with APP coverage
• Meditech charting system
• Adult and pediatric patients

Schedule

• Shifts: 6a-6p or 6p-6a
• Ongoing need; flexible long-term scheduling
• Sites include Rockport, Portland, and Northwest Corpus Christi

Cases and Procedures

• Full-scope emergency medicine: STEMI, trauma, OB, central lines, intubations, dislocations, chest tubes
• 10% admission rate
• Must be efficient in high-acuity scenarios

Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency or Family Medicine (with EM experience)
• Texas license and DEA required
• ATLS preferred
